Completely unexpectedly, Cris Peter, the amazing colourist behind the colours on The Adventures of Superhero Girl, did this badass neon-lit colouring job on my Raven Boys fanart! Ahhh, I love people with mad colour skills, they are the best!
… I like how Ronan looks even more menacing in colour, haha. XD

I had all of yesterday off, so what did I do? A fanart for Maggie Stiefvater’s very excellent book The Raven Boys! Ugh, what a good book, my favourite of 2012, I think. The Scorpio Races was also pretty spectacular.
I’d like to colour this at some point, but unlikely it’ll be anytime soon. So damn busy … :P

A very belated Fan Expo commission. I mistakenly took this on the last day of the convention (which was in August), couldn’t finish it and had to make the poor commissioner wait until now to get her picture. Sorry! That’s actually why I don’t take commissions normally: I feel super guilty when I can’t get to them immediately.
Anyway, it’s Quake and Phobos from Secret Warriors, I guess? I’m not familiar with the characters. The pose was a request: “Have her holding him up like a cat with his arms hanging down.” I kind of love it. :D
I’ll be offering commissions on the first day of Hal-Con (Halifax, Nova Scotia) on October 27-28th. So if you’re coming to that con & want an original drawing by me, make sure to request it the first day of the convention so I actually have time to draw it! :)

I did another review comic for Tor.com, this time about one of my FAVOURITE COMICS OF ALL TIME, Fullmetal Alchemist! I dunno, for some reason I always seem to draw these comics while in a spasm of fannish excitement… ;) Tor knows what I like, I guess!
Spoilers for volume 4 of FMA, btw, if you have your head up your butt about spoilers for books published 8 years ago. ;)
