Watercolour sketch of Winry from Fullmetal Alchemist.
ANGEL KNIVES!!!!! She’ll kill you twice before you hit the ground!
From the arcade game, The Turning.
Completely unexpectedly, Cris Peter, the amazing colourist behind the colours on The Adventures of Superhero Girl, did this badass neon-lit colouring job on my Raven Boys fanart! Ahhh, I love people with mad colour skills, they are the best!
… I like how Ronan looks even more menacing in colour, haha. XD
I had all of yesterday off, so what did I do? A fanart for Maggie Stiefvater’s very excellent book The Raven Boys! Ugh, what a good book, my favourite of 2012, I think. The Scorpio Races was also pretty spectacular.
I’d like to colour this at some point, but unlikely it’ll be anytime soon. So damn busy … :P
Holy cow, actual artwork! It’s been so long! Allison and Sean from my boyfriend Tim’s adorable webcomic, Mush a Mush. I drew this for him for Christmas.
Data! One of my very first TV crushes. *_* Star Trek:TNG is FINALLY on Canadian Netflix and I am really enjoying going through it chronologically, for the very first time.
I’ve been reading more classic Claremont-era New Mutants, so tried to draw Illanya, but got frustrated and gave up. Probably won’t go any farther with this sketch. I’ll do something better of her another time.
A very belated Fan Expo commission. I mistakenly took this on the last day of the convention (which was in August), couldn’t finish it and had to make the poor commissioner wait until now to get her picture. Sorry! That’s actually why I don’t take commissions normally: I feel super guilty when I can’t get to them immediately.
Anyway, it’s Quake and Phobos from Secret Warriors, I guess? I’m not familiar with the characters. The pose was a request: “Have her holding him up like a cat with his arms hanging down.” I kind of love it. :D
I’ll be offering commissions on the first day of Hal-Con (Halifax, Nova Scotia) on October 27-28th. So if you’re coming to that con & want an original drawing by me, make sure to request it the first day of the convention so I actually have time to draw it! :)
men get into something not aimed at their gender: get special titles like "brony." recognition by creators. heralded for defying gender appeal. get documentary.... ...
hey here’s a reminder
you’ve made it this far when it comes to art, you’ve improved so much compared to where you started,...
Anonymous asked: what do you think the biggest misconceptions are about buddhism and hinduism?
I think the biggest misconception about both is that because the religions themselves are peaceful that their adherents are inherently peaceful.
