I am so ridiculously proud to have been a part of this.

The Last of Us:American Dreams issue #1 colours by Rachelle Rosenberg & covers for issues 1-3 by Julian Totino. I really like the issue #2 cover. Issue #2 is my favourite anyway. ;) 

Fun fact: to emphasize Ellie’s lack of agency, I made her physically smaller than everything around her, people, environment, cars, whatever, until she confronts Riley later in the comic. Ellie doesn’t even have a name until the 2nd to last page of the comic.

I’m very glad Rachel & Naughty Dog wanted to work with me on this project. It has been kind of amazing. ^_^

Hey guys, apparently The Last of Us: American Dreams issue #1 is out today in your local comic store. I’m not actually sure why it’s out today, as it was my understanding it wasn’t supposed to be out until late April, and Dark Horse lists the publication as April 24th. So … no idea. But it is out, and I hope you’ll pick up a copy! I’m very proud of it. So much work it was! Drawing all the things! 

Here are inks from the first 6 pages of issue #1, and you can see coloured, finished pages in the preview on Comic Book Resources.

Newsarama talked with Neil Druckmann and Faith Erin Hicks about the upcoming Last of Us comic. Spoiler: It’s gonna be SO GOOD.

Currently sick and in bed and hoping against hope it’ll pass soon so I can get back to drawing The Last of US: AD asap. I don’t have time to be sick! Deadline’s be loomin’, yo.
